Sunapee Recreation Committee Meeting
March 11, 2009

Warrant articles results were discussed. Both articles passed.
Health Safety and Recreation Fair is March 21 at Sherburne Gym. Scott will have softball and T-ball/baseball signups. Also a Red Sox ticket raffle, drawing will be April 18.
Spaghetti dinner at Double Diamond will be held March 28 there are still tickets available.
Softball clinic with Harry Blood will be March 21. Baseball Clinic with Tom Frederick will be March 14.
Conservation Commission were shown preliminary plans for Ski Tow Hill Van Webb (chair) emailed back some constructive comments on the project.
Brian Garland made a motion to make a Ski Tow Hill subcommittee which would include members of Recreation and Conservation. Other interested citizens are invited to join. The charge would be to discuss plans for Ski Tow Hill Park. Motion was seconded and passed. Paul Skarin will chair subcommittee.
Scott mentioned the idea of holding an Aerosmith Tribute Band concert in the summer. The idea was discussed. He will get back to the committee with specifics of price and venue.
April 11 is the Easter egg hunt.
The Spring/Summer Recreation flyer is due May 1st to the printer’s.
Brian made a motion to adjourn. Motion seconded by Patricia.
